4. A Well-Fed Man = horror in the man-made Ukrainian famine of 1932-3. Very well done. 4.5 stars

5. The Binding Tide = super low rent "Shadow over Innsmouth." Wordy and badly edited in parts. 2.5 stars.

2. Hours of the Cat's Eye >>> 1.5 awkward, largely bungled

3. The Complete Compleat Gardener >>> 3, good elements but uneven in parts.

Many reviewers of this volume said it was better than Vol 1. So far, I'm not seeing it. Vol 1 had far more "bite".
