An Okay read for free. The premise is interesting but the series could have been written in three books (perhaps less). I’m most struck by the author’s inability to fully commit to either a fully adult or YA book. Honestly, there’s nothing particularly memorable about this book. If it were a paperback novel you left behind unfinished, you wouldn’t be too concerned.
