"A good boss never apologizes for being late"? No, a good boss would apologize, so his employees knows that he values their time as well. I don't care that Joel is the CEO or that he gives his employees crazy benefits by working for him - that doesn't buy him the right to shit in their time and act like a dick. I'm really not sure I'll be able to get through this book if I'm being honest...

Sooo I've read quite a bit of biker books, and this feels a bit off. Like the author decided to write an MC book and just threw a bunch of shit together, but it seems disconnected, you know? I don't know if that makes sense, but there's a lot of info dumping about their club and their history, but it's not exactly reeling me in. Also Joel just seems like a douche right now, so I'm not hopeful...

Sorry, Joel is in a biker gang? And works a cooperate job? I feel like a lot is happening here. And the name "Joel" just doesn't fit the biker image I have in my head.
