you know this book is really emotionally exhausting. i have four days left on my loan and im moving through this very slowly because i just don't want to read it. i think it's kinda funny that they're talking about tweaking. but then again why is he at this party? he's either 13 or 10

Okay. I dont like Maura. Berry said their fake I'd was 8 years older than they actually were. How old is he? 10? I thought he was in 8th grade. Does the id say he's 21? I have never in my life met a 13 year old whose voice hadn't broke that looked 21. Why would Maura 1. Assume they were there for estrogen 2. Let them buy her a drink with an obviously fake id? Even though they weren't drinking it's weird

definitely not middle grade. idk what the person who added this to the list was thinking. they say shit in the first chapter and detail abuse in way too much detail than is appropriate for a middle grade audience. now that i know it's not middle grade i'm more hopeful.

I find it weird that Maura, a grown woman, wants to hang out with literal children. (Berry being the exception because she’s being an elder to the youth.)

Poor Berry. And Wilson better get his shit together.

This is book was about 15 years ahead of its time.
