Ryder is back. Sort of. You liked him right?
But is he Gia's type?
First there was Bobby. Then James. Then Nico.
Does Ryder stand a chance?
"Dirty fucking pool, Ryder. We lived too far apart for texts like that."

Right before I drifted off, I realized that in order to save Rose I would jeopardize at least a dozen other people. That didn’t sit well with me.
But I also knew I didn’t have any other choice.
It would be on me. Lives would be on the line.
If I fucked up, it would be all my fault.

WRITING UPDATE
"I walked across the sandy pavement and stood scanning the ramshackle village of huts scattered on the bluff overlooking the beach. The setting sun turned the water a molten gold color. More than two dozen surfers riding the crashing waves were only distinguishable as graceful, weaving black silhouettes. The sweet smell of marijuana was thick in the air."

My life writing 5,000 words a day went away last March when my family joined me in WFH.
If they want to talk to me, I talk to them. The writing can be done later. Do you know teenagers? They usually want to be left the F alone, so if they actually come up to me to talk, I talk.
I'm still writing 3,000 words a day -most days. The book, like every book before it, will eventually be written. Thanks for your patience. xx

About 10 percent into writing this Gia Santella crime fiction book. The story has just gotten started and already Gia is in over her head. As always. I'm loving the exotic setting of this book as it grows colder here in Minneapolis. I can live vicariously through Gia in warm climates!
