I didn’t mark the chapter for this note, but it is so nice to have many of the concepts of heredity, genetic disposition, and domestication so succinctly claimed and decisively explained. Notions of greater implications regarding the organization of common groups through a plethora of factors, including that of the presence of a common ancestor gives ample food for thought.

I bought this book after visiting Down House which was the home of Charles Darwin and his family. Fascinating place to visit if you get the chance. Started reading it last year and find it quite heavy going so have been reading it in bits and pieces.
