Oh, this is good. First time travel book where the wild west is the destination. I've a hankering for beans cooked on an open fire...followed by much farting...but not near the fire.

I'm curious if any of these recipes are in the print and kindle editions. That would be pretty sweet. From scratch biscuits with butter sound pretty delicious, as does ccwm

It’s so freaking good. Plus there’s a nod to the Outlander series, a thumbs up for that alone.
Like the first novel I read by ison, it jumps right in. Fast paced. Characters are engaging, interesting and full of personality.
