Not sure why I decided to suffer through that again but here I am.... So far I barely liked one or two story... It's like they took the worst of the trope and put it all together...

First novel completed. Was fun.

This and that-- 4 stars. MM romance between a man who's bi and a man who thought he was straight. Good character development.
The substitute sister-- 4 stars. Grace was a very sympathetic character.

Unswipe-- 5 stars. Looking forward to Owen and Poppy's book

Persuade me-- not a full book and it looks like the full thing is NYP. Love triangle not developed-- Thomas hasn't courted Harper. How does she think favourably of Thomas given he's Casper's friend and was at water fountain flashback? Was expecting C. had done something awful to H. in high school. Wonder if C.'s dad is H.'s brother's dad. Some obvious typos eg Thomas being called Jacob in one chapter.

Taco-flavored Kisses-- 4 stars. Cute story.

Alone with you-- 2 stars. I didn't feel any emotion. Very low drama and slow moving. Does Harlow have a plan for getting a job now she's home? A lot of chapters but many of them are thankfully short. Skimmed the last quarter of the book.

Fine Line-- low drama, writing seemed young. Appearance of ex-boyfriend added nothing to the story. 3 stars.

Shaggy Maggie-- 3 stars? Not sure how I feel about this one. For the longest time couldn't figure out how Magda and Harvey knew each other in high school, or how Beckman didn't tell her he had a twin brother. Not a story for someone who doesn't like cheating or recreational drug use by the main characters.

Love me never cont'd: I don't understand Brooke's motivation for asking Ryan for advice. She shadowed the acting CEO in Boston for years, shouldn't she know what she's doing? I thought maybe it would be revealed she was trying to figure out his plans... or something. Just disappointed and confused by this story and no plans to read more about them in 2022

Love me never-- 2 stars. The author sets it up like it's a Big Deal that Ryan and Brett are doing these side deals and it's like Ryan is trying to take over the Michaelsons' company and then it's like that went nowhere. Is it a bad thing or not? Brett hints Brooke doesn't know everything, but nothing big seems exposed later, so I don't know what to think about that....

Virtually Yours-- 3 stars. I had the wrong expectations about this book-- I thought it would be a standalone. Nothing really is resolved at the end and no questions are answered. I wouldn't call it a cliffhanger because I wasn't left wanting to read the next book. Slow burn, low steam. I thought Kailei's Marine training would be significant at the end of the book but it wasn't. More suspense than romance.

Picture (Im)perfect: Not my thing; couldn't get into it. Finished it, though.

Dirty kisses....: 4 stars. Liked the story, but the epilogue didn't totally fit with other elements of the story.

Hot Cop-- the secret baby trope usually isn't my thing, but I liked this story and immediately went to find the second book in the series.

Cloud Storm-- 3.5 stars

Blitz- good story and I liked that the librarian was actually a librarian. Surprised that Jasper got his permits to alter the building so fast, even with it being a small town.
