Slow start so far... after 30 pages she just left for school. Lots of over explaining but sometimes it's profound.

I just needed to pivot to something else really quick. I could feel my brain atrophying with that last book.

Bro wanted to hate girls intensely but didn't know how, so he wrote a girl character to do this for him.. and that's why i love dazai's books but they'll never make me love u dazai.

Reading about this eponymous “Schoolgirl” was initially boring, I thought that the beginning was the author’s way of expressing the quirky schoolgirl’s persona. However, reaching pg. 40, the words made more sense. Suddenly, I am relating to the girl’s own introspection towards the world around her - provoking thought. And I wonder if the preface of the novella is coming to light, revealing Dazai’s mind.
