An excellent romantic suspense novel which I wasn’t expecting. Review to follow shortly

So impressed with the book. I am actually interested in the mystery AND the romance. Imagine that!

Random find of the year (to date) 😋

This book was published in 2007, so before the 50 Shades phenomenon which makes this so interesting as a look at BDSM romance before it broke it into every romance novel published.

Plus it helps that the writing is solid. Looking forward to this.

A bit of a bore up to this point with both MCs (in alternate 1st Person POV) thinking stuff about the other. I did like the murder and ensuing investigation and was irked by the constant interruptions of the MC's thoughts, especially Alex's. It was repetitive: same old thing about her secret fantasies, fear of being outed, shame whenever she comes across mentions of bondage and D/s.
