This is very crafts info heavy, it was cute at first but I'm losing interest

The author has done a fairly good job of describing the different crafts until she got to fabric types. It's OK. Most people would not catch this stuff but apparently I am a fabric nerd.

If these were said out loud, they would be considered microagressions. I think the author could have used some sensitivity readers.

Having an issue with this narrator who basically yells when he talks in some of the characters voices.

“You are who you are meant to be right now, and I think that’s pretty great. Regardless of how you got here.”

“I like you the way you are. ... You, as you, turn me on. You know that.” He held my face in his hands. “And I’m crazy about your brain. The insane mess of thoughts racing around your head, and the deep focus in your eyes. So if you’re going to change anything, do it for you, okay? Because it’s something you want, not because you think it will make me stay.”

Damn, ladies, that was beyond inconsiderate. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Non-story observation ... I really hate the new covers. The illustration style isn't one I like at all, and I also think they are too "cutesy" for the stories. Maybe it's just me, but...if I hadn't already read book one (with the original cover), I'd have passed this series by because of the covers. I know I shouldn't judge a book by its cover, but sometimes I totally do.
