Am reading an email copy sent to me by the author who is a Goodreads friend. Thus far, am enjoying the Mennonite and Waterloo Ontario setting and that the Edna Staebler (of Food That Really Schmecks fame) plays a role and that the story is supposedly also based on true events. And since I did my MA and PhD at the University of Waterloo, am also tickled having a middle grade novel set in said area.
