My take away from Ch. 8- be more consistent and thoughtful with extrinsic motivation. Don't think of them as bribes. Neurodivergent children need to be convinced they are capable and this may need some good consistent motivators. I skimmed several sections that were not very relevant outside of the classroom.

Chapter 6 is mostly geared toward educators working with kids in a classroom setting but there are some valuable nuggets that apply to the home as well.
