I knew from the 2nd chapter that I wouldn't be a fan of this author. This book seems like it's written by a college student taking her first creative writing course. It's full of awkward dialogue, unnecessary and uninteresting detail, and zero depth. I care zero figs about any of the plastic characters (except maybe Miles, because he seems sort of clueless and easily taken advantage of).

This is one of those books you can (and should) just skim, reading the dialogue only. The rest is unnecessary filler and really boring.
