This is so educational. Growing up in the north and moving to the south in 2007, this has always felt so far away to me. But its obviously not. The truth is it can take concentrated mental work to not see people with a different look, culture, way of speaking as "other." I see it now with latin american people in my own country and middle eastern and african in my adopted country. Context and education is critical.

I miss Obama. I miss when we had a competent, non-delusional president in office. A person who speaks respectively, coherently, and is well read.
