Status Updates From Eleanor

When reading a biography of someone like Eleanor Roosevelt,the wife of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, FDR, it’s fair to say the time period in which they lived the role of women in our history was often overlooked. Needless to say there is a lot to be learned and the author David Michealis has shared aspects of Eleanor’s public life, and especially her private life with its many secrets.

This book has provided me with much information about Eleanor’s early life. Being born into a wealthy prominent family did not provide a happy or loving home and even she knew little of the dark secrets of her family.
