Status Updates From Fossiles de Rêves

It was an alright collection of short stories. I liked a few stories (i.e. Kidnappers, Beyond The Sun, Waira, Joyful Bell and The Adventures of Master Basho to some extent) but most were disappointing since I expected a lot better. There were a few cases of same face syndrome and many not so funny pervert jokes I’m quite tired of seeing. A generous 2/5 stars.

Joyful Bell was quite nice

Now I think “Beyond The Sun” is my favorite! It is so whimsical and nonsensical and the last page is unexpectedly hilarious. It’s great. I’d love to see it animated or maybe try my hand at animating it myself someday when I learn how to.

I liked the art in Waira! It’s pretty good.

“Kidnappers” was fun.
