This book is kinda slow but in a good way so far. Also the banter between Kicks and Jude is so so good

Imma little confused. It says he only has one eye but the author writes like he has two. Still not liking Jude slept with someone on the page…. I don’t really like Jude so far.

this series is just so comfy??? like its got action moments and yearning for days and sadness abound but there’s just something so soft about all of it. hazy and summery and so warm and endearing. there’s an intrinsic kindness to all the characters made more real by their struggles. it’s hard to explain but the vibe is always so on point

This is where I realize this is not a standalone - the story jumps ahead based on past events. It’s all good tho because everyone should be reading these.
