Writing Update!

“You make me so fucking happy, the second I saw you.” He shakes his head in disbelief. “You were a magnet, a piece that I never knew was missing but I can’t live without you. I don’t care if I have known you only a short time, in my fucking soul I’ve known you forever.”

“Never had what, honey?” I smile and sit next to him. He scoots closer to me and I resist the urge to pull him into a hug. I just want to wrap him up and protect him from the world. I just can’t fathom how scared he was or what he thought when his mother did that. It still blows my mind that she could sell her baby. “Never had a bed before.”

He lifts his head to look at me, “I have never met anyone I've wanted to give the world to like I do you, to protect like I do you.” He lifts my hand pressing it against his chest. “You are mine, just like I am yours.”

His eyes are filled with anger but his face is soft, his hands tender on mine.
“Darlin, its killing me seeing that fear in your eyes.” He cups my face, “One thing you should never have with me is fear. You are perfect, darlin. Every piece of you.”
I close my eyes, holding back the tears. He pulls me to him, lifting me off of the ground & walks with me in his arms into the water.

“Bitch, you’re just trying to act all high and mighty. You’re trying to buy my boy and I won’t tolerate it.” She gets in my face, pointing her finger.
I bite my tongue wanting to tell her to exactly where to stick it. Maverick sits down right between us, practically in my lap putting himself in between us. “Now are you going to fucking tell me where the fuck you get off speaking to her like that.”

How someone could hurt someone as angelic as her? I will never fucking understand.
Evil is the only thing they can be, but good news for them is I am the grim fucking reaper and I am coming for them.

She flinches so hard, she clenches her eyes shut, and braces herself as if I was going to hit her.

That's when it fucking hits me like a ton of bricks that someone has hurt her.

Rage unlike I have felt before. Something uncontrolled powers through me wanting revenge.

He takes a long drink of his beer and gently sets it back onto the table, my eyes getting fill of his tattoos on his arms and hands.

“Maverick.” He says in a deep voice, that just glides over me like butter. Goosebumps breaking out across my skin, at the mere sound of him.

I gather my nerve and look at him fully, “Isabella, Bell for short.”

SNEAK PEEK! *unedited* “It’s been nothing short of hell here, and I couldn’t bring my kids into this world. I am sorry I gave you up, but I did it protect you in my own way. I can’t even protect myself.” I catch my breath, trying to stop the panic attack from overwhelming me. “From him.” I finish the sentence.
