Ok, so far this book is absolute bs but it has reached new levels:

Yes, it is discussing being nonmonogamous with nonphysical entities near the end as "we can't leave this out of the conversation". The heck???

"this book focuses on [...] heterosexual relationships between cisgender men and women"

"I do not discuss asexual and aromantic identities or orientations , although some asexual people’s emphasis on plural affective bonds can be seen as a type of polyamory"

A bit research and maybe building in quotes could've had helped this, esp. because he writes about deconstructing monocentrism. More intersectionality!

"To this end, I document and critically examine two pairs of interlocked psychosocial attitudes—monopride/polyphobia and polypride/monophobia"

Monophobia. lol. What's next, heterophobia?

I hope this book will be better than the introducion promises, I'm not deep into it but already not convinced by how the author is phrasing a few things.
