Status Updates From Four Kings Security Series ...

Author feels really young. I think mainly because of the way the security company is absconding with a "CEO" simply because the CEO's father hired them to protect him despite his refusal for security. There are so many real-world issues with this action that I'm having difficulty suspending disbelief.

4.5 stars for "Diamond in the Rough" - King and Leo are polar opposites in just about every way, and yet it's like they've known each most of their lives. They get each other. Now they just have to survive their current situation to see what the rest of their lives might hold.

4.5 stars for "Join the Club" - Lucky and Mason have been building to a confrontation for some time. Everyone around them sees that the tension is due to their attraction to one another, but that's something they are both terrified to acknowledge.

4 stars for "Be Still My Heart" - Red and Laz continue getting to know one another from meeting in book one. Both are sweet and connect right away, but they both also have serious issues that might just end up being more than they can get around.

4.5 stars for "Love in Spades" - Ace and Colton make sparks when they first meet as they clash. The fun starts when the sparks continue but for a very different reason.
