gonna get through this and then give up on this series bc this is not doing it for me

Fun and silly and fluffy and hot. This book is all sorts of fun.

The only thing that's ruining it is of this new male narrator who has decided to switch accents in the middle of sentences and for some reason is playing a 10,000-year-old Byzantine vampire like a bad world war II German villain.

But the story is hilarious and I highly recommend it

For anyone that read my previous review (of this series), I’m at the 19 “mates”… and I’m positive I’ve missed 1/4 of them (ADD and late night listening😣)…’but STILL!!! WHY?!? 🥺

I wonder if the four horsemen will have or have their own series

The ending wasn’t a total cliffhanger and ended on a fun note with Chris and Sabian together, her nightstallion snickering at them from a distance…

I suppose it’s a solid three stars

Ezra is hot and adorable
The vampire and the angel bonding was cute

Certainly more depth to main male characters than most books so that’s a plus

Kind of annoyed the first (not few) pages of this one was just repetitive and recap I didn’t want or need of the first book
If id known this, I wouldn’t have bothered rereading the first book 😑

Chapter 10:
Well, we already knew Mal was pretty badass, but he's gotten taken out so quickly before that he hasn't gotten the chance to show us until now. But taking on two full Angels? That was something else. It definitely seems that, in this series, defensive magic is much stronger than offensive magic which makes for really interesting story telling/strategy used in the fights.

Chapter 8:
This chapter is deliriously good. I love the relationship between Price and Ezra as well as Price's attitude and strength. I also really want to get into the head of Death and see what he saw as well as learn what he meant when he said she's a mage of old blood.
