OK, so this book has made me cry and my heart ache, but I love it for making me laugh out loud, too!

Of course Kyle would be there in the courtroom - part of him needs that closure as well, even if he wasn't the one that got hurt trying to subdue the school shooter. He feels like he's lost the one thing he'd always have: Sean. And hopefully, after that uncalled for outburst (srsly? Ok father grief but damn) Sean's realized that no one can take everything from him because he's already lost what mattered: Kyle.

I'm kind of glad that I couldn't find an audiobook version of this. A) Because of all the sex. JFC that's not a complaint but I don't know if I could take that much ear porn without stopping for, uh, relief. B) The drama of this would probably give me heart palpitations. I can get overwhelmed by what I see & hear; the arms of my leather lazy boy still have half moon scars from my nails thanks to that BSG ep. "33"

This book is killing me.

Oh shit. A life too happy, too perfect, all sunshine and glitter with nary a cloud in the sky most likely means their relationship has never been stress-tested to see what might break them. This is already killing me. And I sweartagod I can see clear as day: one of them is gonna be pushed to the limit, is gonna contemplate being unfaithful if not actually cheating...

Quite a bit of sex in this bit. I get confused by their positions. She writes them well but at the moment they are so horny one glance and they are at it again. I need a break from it, surely they have chafing issues.

I like the relationship btw Sean and Kyle, thought there could have been more made of the shooting scene.
