worried issue 3 is the last. It feels like the comic needed much more pacing, streamlining and told over a few more issues so Emilia’s vision could be executed as she expected. I wish I could give 5 ⭐️ purely for her vision and goal of uplifting all women and acknowledge various amount of gender related social injustice, racism etc. But, it feels muddled and needs to be striped back.

I love Maya’s characterisation as she’s witty, caring and is so proud of her womanhood. But, in regards to her heroism, nothing much seems to be happening. There doesn’t seem to be a focused thread of villainy (either the woman or her ex, I’d rather one be chosen and fleshed out).
It feels messier than the first issue, with too much crammed in. Tiff? Her ex? This woman trying to make women marry? Few answer

There’s some good here: the art is engaging, striking and consistently creative. The costume design is awesome and unlike anything I’ve seen for a female lead (although it being lost in the crease of the comic was disappointing). There is a lot of team work here, which is nice to see as there’s nothing weak or shameful about asking for and needing help. Everyone comes together for Maya and it’s lovely

The fact that Emilia Clarke AKA the Mother of Dragons, wrote a woke-feminist, superhero comic just proves she is the best human being that's ever lived and if I am ever graced with her presence I might actually pass away.
