Just finished one story from this short story collection, and I already had to share my thoughts even though I haven’t finished the whole book yet.
It made me wonder how women are still deprived of basic rights and necessities in so many places. In the story, Jamenti the main character is married off to a man without her consent. The story beautifully yet painfully portrays how cruel society can be towards women.
