Status Updates From The Way of the Worm

I’m going to try and do another fair chunk of this later tonight - but I won’t finish it. So, I’ll at least have some of this for Halloween morning; if this stretches to the evening tomorrow, it’s a good way to see Halloween off, but I would like to be into Figure Away, by dark tomorrow. Creepy Delicious. I’m not the biggest lover of Cosmic Horror - the whole Lovecraftian thing done over and over again - but as usual, this author has his own way of doing things.

Off and running from - uh, I mean with - the last book of the trilobite - I mean trilogy. I don't know what's with all the fraidy'n'slips...I mean Freudian slips. (See, this is what happens when you read three Ramsey Campbell books fairly close together, instead of just taking it easy with one!) Anyway, this has been a treat.

I am expecting a great third book in the trilogy!

Unsettling, delightful use of language, definitely Lovecraftian in style and scope. Will be seeking out more from rhis author.
