“You do. I’m ruining all your textiles.”

“So gauche,” Theo mumbled.

“I hate them anyway.”

“I know.”

He watched as Blaise approached, as poised and elegant as Theo was clumsy and disheveled. He knelt in front of Theo, easily balancing two potions in a single open palm. Theo's vision stopped swimming long enough to register a warm sensation stretching and yawning, wide and lazy inside his chest, awakened from a kind of slumber behind the brick wall he’d built around his heart.
