Yes, hi, I hate the voice the narrator chose for the FMC, I’m struggling so much with this audiobook. And it’s wild because the voice they use for the men (and even other women) is great, but the FMC is squeaky and too high-pitched, to the level that their voice cracks sometimes while reading.

End of Chapter Twenty-One. We're getting near the end of this book & we're bringing more friends; and foes into the arc. It's fun & intense. It's a good fast pace and we're learning more about Nigellus' relationships and how he relates to those around him. Also, we've had some more info on Edward that I do wonder a little on who he really is ... Will we have a story about him? I do hope so!!!

End of Chapter Thirteen. I am really enjoying this book. I am loving the interactions between the characters and certainly the chemistry. I am grateful that the writing has had the pace picked up; and the internal monologues have been (for the most part) spread out, and more world building conversations have been happening. All up; so far I'm 5/5. Also. Wings. <3 Wings.
