She glanced over at Christian. “Huh?”

“I’ll still your heart, baby,” Gray muttered, doing her best John Wayne impression.

Christian smirked, helping load her luggage
into the back of the car. “I don’t know about still,” she said, eyeing Gray before heading to the passenger side. “But you might just steal it.”

“I see,” Christian drawled as they strolled. “Well, as you know, I like to be in control, so this is a good thing.”
