Status Updates From Little Bird (Dirty Deeds, #1)

I dont know how to feel about this book. Im 87% through and im noticing major plot holes towards the ending here.

My main one is in regards to the character Andy... the man was shot and had a punctured lung so how in 48 hours was he able to drive and come save dagger from his gun shot wound.

This book is very fast moving and not really giving wren the appropriate strong independent can only rely on herself vibes

Started my regular reading for the night: “His ten-thousand dollar suit.” Okay yeah I’m in for some delicious garbage.

I think it’s the nostalgia that’s keeping me going. Running on radiation and my 14 year old fanfictions.

Sometimes, a book like this reminds you of your 13th year on this earth… and it’s a moment for sure.

Unfortunately, I will be speed reading this now. I can see the ending and want to reach it before Bane and Wren frick their way into my earths timeline.

The only realistic thing here is Wren having a fuckass, useless, disappointing brother.

Bane being called “thorough” was funny. All men need to be this way…

One of his “Dolls” goes crazy because she loves Bane and he obviously doesn’t so she stabs a guy… right.

Also, how can you make him some dark, brooding, sex lord who’s in the mafia, but REALLY try to prove that he respects women…

Wait, it’s a mafia romance. Nothing matters. Everyone is stupid. The main people are hot, their scenes are hotter.

I’ve taken a break from earth shattering, mind blowing, developing characters to read some mafia romances.

Thankfully my brain shuts off when I read these cause so far I’ve cringed, blushed and laughed. Reading block shall be fixed soon.
