I love a side character, but in a book which is a collection of short stories on a particular character, the side character shouldn’t overshadow the main character…. Also, I feel like this wasn’t a good example of a mystery, it’s more of a social injustice being fixed.

Unfortunately, this sounded way too modern. This story was not something Agatha Christie would write: Miss Marple didn’t like solving murders, it was just something she did. This story made it seem like she woke up every morning waiting for someone to die by another’s hand.
