Status Updates From How to Get Away with Marria...

I liked a lot about this book! But I’m not one that gets super into side characters or side characters having their own page time. This is just as much Edith’s story as Triss and Hugh. I loved Hugh, Triss I’m heartbroken for but still feeling lukewarm about. Overall a lot of conflicting emotions here but I liked the writing a lot and will definitely try Fenna Again ❤️

Our hero is strong against unknown entities but weak when it comes to standing up to those he knows. So he is coming off like a weak-willed coward. Our heroine stands up strongly against the hero nor is she straight with him - to the point of looking ridiculous - but cannot hold her own against harsh tongues. She also wants to walk alone all over the city potentially putting her in the TSTL category. We'll see.
