“Let me clean up,” I say. Link’s arm tightens, stopping me from sitting up. I look at him, my heart skipping a beat when I see how soft his eyes are. It’s something I thought I’d never see again. I’ve grown used to his hate, and it almost hurts to see anything but. Because now, I never want to lose it.
“You’ll come back?”
“I’ll always come back, Link.”

LOVE THEM

"Still mad at me, baby?”
"I am,” he grunts, lowering his upper body until his lips hover right above mine. “You want to know why?”
“Tell me.”
"I’m so fucking angry, Echo,” he whispers, followed by a soft moan. One of his hands slides up around my jaw, tipping up my chin and ensnaring my gaze in his. “Because you should’ve been mine first.”

“I’m sorry that I ruined so much for you,” I murmur quietly.
She stills for a moment before resuming her swaying.
“You didn’t ruin anything for me, Echo,” she says softly.
“They ruined you. And I’m happy right where I am.”

Soulmates

“You’re a liar, Echo. You were angry that she didn’t fucking want you anymore.”

“You think so?” I breathe raggedly. “She sought attention elsewhere because she stopped getting it from me. Your sister begged me to fuck her. And I couldn’t anymore, because it was always your name that slipped out of my mouth when I did.”

SCREAMING

Reading this for Echo and Link and after the first chapter I already know I'm gonna love this

Why are only some of the stories paginated? Why is there no table of contents? Why are there no headers?
