I’ve now read the Winter Soldier issue, and man, what a great one-shot/advertisement for Sentinel of Liberty! I was surprised to see the TPB for that doesn’t come out for another month, but I’ll definitely be getting that! I wanna see where Bucky’s story goes!

The art was phenomenal in this issue. Truly a standout part. Creeping through the mansion doused in red light and checkered floors… perfection!

I’ve finished the main miniseries, only the Winter Soldier issue remains.

It was less of an X-Men title and more of an Emma Frost title, but I suppose the X-Men name sells better. Not that I’m complaining in any way.

All in all, I quite enjoyed the Emma Frost/Elektra focused story.

We got to see how Emma’s past intertwines with Fisk, and further shows the compassion that’s always existed within Elektra.
