I’m not gonna lie, the ending was kind of anti climactic. It felt like it just ended so abruptly,on minute they’re almost burning to death, the next they’re back home and everything’s fine. I do like how it was kept open that Owen is likely to come back, but I don’t know, the ending didn’t really do it for me. Anything before the ending I loved. It’s still a good book, but the first one was better imo.

I am so glad this book be some available on Hoopla! I really like this author and I loved the first book. This one is just as good so far and I’m definitely intrigued by Tye’s visions he keeps having. I feel like now they’re heading back to the main land so hopefully he gets some answers now.
