This book is devastating, especially being Lebanese myself and witnessing the slowly growing hatred between Lebanese people right now due to the current situation.

Too depressing. I am going to try avoiding books that upset me and don't provide a place for me to put all that sadness or a reason for reading it. That is not to say I am only going to read happy books. Or avoid reality. I will still read books that teach me or show me something (window books). But set limits.
