Status Updates From Can't Resist Her

not sure about which specific aspect is spoiling this book for me, but some stuff aren't clicking

huh... I guess there were better ways to close this chapter, but I'm not gonna get into too deep of a judgement just now

HEAR? my sister in christ, after this flirting sequence you should be getting a fucking room and going at it

“Aiko could only shake her head. _All my friends are wild, but i swear I love them_” “Aiko swallowed, then licked her lips. _I know my eyes big as hell right now._ Yet she was just drunk enough not to care.”

When I was in elementary I wrote my first short story with the exact same style. I’m very glad I evolved since.

they went to the same high school why the FUCK is Aiko acting like she doesn’t recognise her own old coach??? this book just keeps contradicting itself EVERY SINGLE PAGE

i swear the author contradicts herself on every page like??? Aiko is a super planner (apparently) who even know thats the get together of her company should start exactly 30 minutes after the end of the church service — then her mom and her friend appears (after the event starts punctually) and goes on complaining that the service was so long and the pastor talked way too much HOW DID YOU KNOW WHEN TO START THEN

i’m at 30% but idc, i cannot with the fmc of this book. the gentrification storyline would be interesting if it was not for Summer’s own selfish reasons and ego to preserve this school — she even does the whole “you know who i am” bullshit to Aiko and every time she talks about the school she brings up her grandmother and her “family honour”

Okay these two are a little too reasonable about these differences and I think that says something about me XD they are pretty cute though
