All the fantasy things or supernatural things in this book are more convoluted than the first book. The soulmate theme is good. I don’t mind it but everything else is just making it so unenjoyable at this stage in the book it’s all just mushed up like all I need is the soulmate issue and the family issue and the selective mutism
