It’s a bit baffling how different the books in this series are. First one was relationship-focused with a drug crime in the background, second one a rugby player coming out story, and this third one seems to be a serial killer murder case with focus on the actual case. The case was mostly background noise in the first book, so this has a different feel to it. At least so far.
