I’m enjoying this a lot more than the first book, and I enjoyed that one quite a bit. Loving the perspectives from the Blood Pact and the Son’s of Sek. Farrer has an excellent grasp in 40k mechanics, weapons, and in-universe functionality. Very lore accurate all the way through, suspension of disbelief isnt even willful at this point.
