She really slips back and forth between deficit language like broken and some lovely affirmation, which is weird but human I reckon. Uncertain about this so far. She uses deficit language a lot during this early diagnostic period of their story, and it seems to lean toward maternal glory over paternal anything or educator collaboration or or or or. She did start out showcasing her kid’s future awesomeness, so… We’ll see.
