Status Updates From Hard Candy Christmas

So far I like this story but I don't love it. I like the characters, particularly Dani. But I sometimes found the dialogue between Emma and Tamern to be confusing and not sure which one is talking or what they are trying to communicate. I don't know how much this author has written. Is this her first or second published work? The author is not a terrible writer but she could use more experience and polish.
