I hate any and all holiday stories with a passion-Christmas ones especially - as they are usually sooo sweet they make me want to commit book murder to neutralise all that sugar. This one is no exception. Tapping out with this author.

This book is all telling, no showing. That coupled with a first person narrative is getting on my nerves. A relentless flow of information is exhausting for me to read. Only 5% to go.
