Not sure how I feel about the protagonist basically committing SA twice in the first third of this book… the writing is beautiful but really?

occasionally i feel genuine revulsion and aversion towards what’s being written (bc some bits are just genuinely gross) and then i think of my goat julia kristeva and her theory on abjection and then i can kind of appreciate baltasar’s ability to inspire aversion in her readers… the writing is good even if i’m occasionally grossed out lol

finally finishing up this triptych! so exciting!
