Ah...the ending in the meadow of flowers where my house was located a million years ago. Of course, the first ending we reached was at the time of Easter when I was a baby...

I enjoy my yearly read of this book on Easter with the family. I imagine we'll go to several endings, as usual. The fusion of Edward Packard's writing and Vincent Bell's illustration work isn't quite a masterpiece, but I love it.

Let's follow the bunny despite the freezing, snowy cold.

I'm not sure if I'll read this with my mother, my sister's kids, or all three, but I definitely plan on doing this book today. Edward Packard is one of my favorite authors and Vincent Bell's illustrations are wonderfully atmospheric.

I love this two-page illustration spread of the Indian village. Bangarang!

Should we take the dinosaur egg with us?

This book is strangely philosophical, but in general it's an appealing attribute.

This ending is more profound than I recalled. This book is quite good.

If I have to go to the past, I'll go back less far.

Another stellar drawing of the landscape in the past. Dynamite.

Only the Easter bunny can bail me out. Let's go!

Parting ways with the Easter bunny had a questionable result last time, so I'll stick with him.

I should follow where I saw the bunny headed. If anyone can get me home it's the Easter bunny.

A bit odd, but I like the coziness of the ending.

Back to the first decision juncture. I'll leave the Easter bunny and venture to the distant farmhouse.

I don't view this ending as a perforation of internal continuity. I think it stems from the Easter bunny's magic in returning you home.

This time I'll see if the Easter bunny can take me to explore the future before we return to my home.

I love that ending. It's probably my favorite in the book. And what a time capsule! Dwight Gooden, Bert and Ernie...

This book's illustrations are really nice. I wish Vincent Bell had illustrated more gamebooks.
