Status Updates From Einstein (Modern Masters)

Einstein compares science to religion. “To the sphere of religion belongs the faith that the regulations valid for the world of existence are rational, that it is comprehensible to reason.”

He thinks of God as something deeply hidden behind the rules of nature.”

In the first chapter we get a glimpse of Einstein’s solitude later in life. It is his crutch in a sad reality he lives in. Europe, his home, is collapsing in real time but his only defense is to escape the truth of his life with the distractions of a deeper nature larger than himself.

رفتم کتاب "تاریخچۀ زمان" استیون هاوکینگ رو نگاه کردم و دیدم دو فصل اولش در رابطه با نسبیته (مخصوصاً فصل دوم). دیدم بد نیست برای یادآوری و فهم بیشتر اون دو فصل رو دوباره بخونم. خیلی از مطالبش رو فراموش کرده بودم.

تا اينجا كتابى مفرح بوده. ببينم بخش هاى فنى تر رو هم به همين خوبى توضيح ميده؟

Einstein, writing for a peace meeting held in 1938: "The triumph of barbarism and inhumanity can only lead to a situation... in which America herself will be forced to fight, and this under circumstances vastly more unfavourable than most people can possibly anticipate today"
