This book is the type I always hoped I'd get but never expected to. A wildly fun ride, one that even non-bluegrass fans could find great joy out of, I think.

This book is an utter delight. I love Mark's writing style. It's throwing me right into the center of what it'd be like to join the Blue Grass Boys as an outside. Mark isn't afraid to describe the bizarre land of Billness, which makes every page wildly fun. Monroe's - and everyone else's - colorful personality shines through.
