Status Updates From Pillars of Magic: Dominion ...

Book 4 is amazing. The fae is this world are super capricious. It's fascinating.

But err why do characters always have to level up to ridiculous levels?

Book 3 is an easy 4 stars. It's only not 5 stars because even though I read this book in the heat of a country 1 degree off the equator, I could imagine those freezing temperatures of this book way too realistically. Also, I have difficulty believing that people would go out in that kind of cold without a coat. Something's wrong with Kelly.

Finished book 2. I cannot rate book 2 because it turned out to be a horror/suspense novel, not action/adventure. I do not like being scared. My emotional masochism prefers humiliation, not fear, thanks.

Despite that, this book was gripping. Couldn't stop reading until I reached the end of book 2, even though it's past 3 in the morning.

Just finished book 1 and wow. The POV character started out a little too uncomfortable for me because err, I felt called out. My tinted glasses were never as blackly tinted as Sei's, but PAINFUL. But the book ended with an awesome end, so it was good.
