Being on the rich-girl-poor-girl-rich-girl roller coaster brings lots of baggage. She is acerbic and not nice to hero and not sure how I feel about this but at least it's not accidentally unheroic.... Not sure how hero feels about it either, but makes a change from too-good-to-be true heroines.

I like King's first person voice. I'm not averse to heroine-only POV always liked Sara Craven's books as it's makes for an enigmatic hero Think he may be a bit too enigmatic here so far and need to see him more through dialogue/actions etc.
