this is kind of insanely good... the switches in point of view, the repeated scenes, everything fantastical, the LANGUAGE... they put drugs in 20th century cuban novels and i'm SO MAD the swarthmore cuban lit course that was GOING to run next spring ISN'T ANYMORE when i've literally been planning on taking it for 2 years. but it's fucking whatever. IT'S WHATEVER!!!!
